Code of Ethics
Professional Integrity as Spiritual Practice
Every student, faculty member, and graduate of the Kairos Institute abides by this Code of Ethics—a sacred agreement to embody wisdom with compassion, and knowledge with humility.
1. Respect for All Beings
We honor the inherent dignity, spiritual path, and free will of every person. No teaching or mentorship shall coerce, discriminate, or exploit.
2. Truthful Representation
Practitioners commit to represent their education, credentials, and scope of practice honestly. Titles such as “Coach,” “Minister,” or “Facilitator” must adhere to accurate legal definitions.
3. Confidentiality
Students and practitioners uphold strict confidentiality in all client and peer interactions, except when disclosure is required by law or safety concerns.
4. Boundaries and Consent
Every client relationship is grounded in clear informed consent. Touch, rituals, or energetic practices require explicit permission.
5. Non-Diagnosis Policy
Graduates shall not diagnose, prescribe, or claim to cure medical or psychological conditions. Referrals to qualified licensed professionals are required when appropriate.
6. Continuous Education and Self-Development
The pursuit of personal mastery and ethical growth is lifelong. Practitioners are encouraged to continue learning, receive mentorship, and periodically review this Code.
7. Protection of Vulnerable Populations
Kairos programs and graduates serve compassionately within trauma-informed boundaries, never using spiritual influence for personal gain.
Violation of this Code may result in corrective action or withdrawal of certification credentials. Kairos holds integrity as the highest credential a practitioner can possess.
